Cedar Trails, Grand Ridge, Cascade Ridge and Endeavour use the same district curriculum, grading system and district assessments. School-specific differences are primarily found in each School Improvement Plan (SIP), instructional implementation and classroom practice.

The district says assessment results are used to adjust instruction, identify learning difficulties early and plan interventions. They should be considered together with classroom performance and teacher observations.

The district is scheduled to introduce a newly reviewed elementary math curriculum in fall 2027. Therefore, Eureka Math may be replaced; this should be checked again in spring or summer 2027.

Academic scale

4 — Mastery: strong accuracy and fluency plus deep thinking and transfer to new contexts.
3 — Proficient: understands core ideas and essential skills, with support or scaffolding where appropriate.
2 — Basic: understands much of the content but has gaps and needs more support.
1 — Below grade level: is primarily developing prerequisite skills and needs significant support.

Behaviors that promote learning

C — Consistently demonstrates age-level behaviors.
M — Meeting age-level behavior expectations.
E — Emerging grade-level skills.
G — Growth area receiving support.

Kindergarten reporting includes foundational reading, informational and literary comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, informational/opinion/narrative writing, math domains, behaviors that promote learning, and unit-based science and social studies. Kindergarten students do not receive the specialist skills grade used in higher elementary grades for music and PE.

Cedar Trails

2024–26 School Improvement Plan snapshot.
Primary themes include Benchmark literacy implementation, MTSS, Universal Design for Learning and better tracking of Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports.
The plan identifies i-Ready, formative assessments, Eureka module assessments/exit tickets, behavioral data and attendance as progress-monitoring evidence.

Grand Ridge

2024–26 School Improvement Plan snapshot.
Primary themes include Benchmark literacy implementation, Universal Design for Learning and more data-driven Tier 2 support.
Published targets include third-grade phonics performance and grades 3–5 SBA math performance, including gap-closing targets for focus groups and students with disabilities.

Cascade Ridge

Live 2024–26 School Improvement Plan.
Primary themes include reading growth, Benchmark literacy, intervention blocks and Universal Design for Learning.
The school also hosts the district's north grade 4–5 Science Technology Magnet campus; this is not part of its kindergarten curriculum.

Endeavour

Live 2024–26 School Improvement Plan.
Primary themes include foundational literacy, inclusionary practices, Universal Design for Learning and tiered academic and behavioral support.
Endeavour hosts one of the district's two grade 3–5 MERLIN sites; SAGE remains the neighborhood-school highly capable service for identified students who are not in MERLIN.

View Ridge Elementary

View Ridge uses Seattle Public Schools curriculum rather than Issaquah materials. Current highlights include Emerge! structured literacy, enVision Mathematics, DIBELS literacy screening, MAP, curriculum-embedded assessments and trimester Elementary Progress Reports.

Bryant Elementary

Bryant uses the same current Seattle district curriculum and progress-reporting framework as View Ridge, with a particularly detailed whole-child kindergarten philosophy and inclusive advanced-learning practices.
Bryant's public grade-level curriculum page contains some outdated program names; the archive clearly separates those historical descriptions from current district adoptions.

McDonald International Elementary

Spanish/Japanese immersion curriculum and progress-tracking archive.
2025–26 Continuous School Improvement Plan.
Students spend half the day in English and half in Spanish or Japanese; math and science are taught primarily in the target language.
Public pages contain conflicting current/older curriculum names, so the archive flags Emerge! versus Collaborative Classroom and enVision versus Math in Focus for direct verification.
