## Level-Specific Visual Checks
### Normal — Visual Components
Normal articles carry visual weight via stat cards, Mermaid diagrams, and
timelines. Each has its own failure mode. Check all four categories below
in addition to the unconditional KG checks.
#### 1. Stat card grounding
For every entry in `stats`:
- The `value` must be verifiable from a cited source OR derivable from a
Wikidata claim on the entity. An unsourced stat is a **STAT-BLOCKER**.
- Numeric values should carry units where relevant ("1.4 billion" vs
"1,400,000,000 people"). Missing units on an ambiguous numeric stat →
**STAT-NIT**.
- The `label` must be unambiguous in the context of the article.
#### 2. Diagram coherence
For every entry in `diagrams`:
- Every node label must refer to a concept that appears in the prose. A
diagram is allowed to *structure* the prose, but not to *introduce* new
concepts. Orphan node → **DIAGRAM-BLOCKER**.
- Every edge must correspond to a causal or structural relationship that
the section indicated by `after_section` actually describes. Edge with

## Dimensions (rate each 1–5)
### 1. Figure Recognizability
Is the central ASCII figure visually identifiable as *this specific entity*? A generic labeled box scores 1–2. A distinctive silhouette that a reader could recognize without reading the label scores 4–5. For a person, does the figure evoke their actual appearance or a defining visual trait? For a place, does the outline or landmark read? For an abstract concept, is the chosen symbol evocative rather than generic?
- **1** — Unrecognizable. Could be any entity. Generic shapes, no distinguishing features.
- **3** — Identifiable with the label. Uses some distinctive motifs but leans on the label to disambiguate.
- **5** — Recognizable without the label. A reader familiar with the entity would identify it from the art alone.
### 2. Relationship Legibility
Can a reader trace which concepts connect to which, and what the relationships are? Good spatial grouping (related concepts near each other), clearly labeled connections, no arrow spaghetti, no colliding labels. The 8–12 radiating concepts should form a readable map.
- **1** — Arrow spaghetti or collapsed labels. Cannot tell what connects to what.
- **3** — Most connections traceable; some layout issues or unclear groupings.
- **5** — Every connection is clearly drawn and labeled; spatial arrangement meaningfully groups related concepts.
### 3. Factual Accuracy
Are the facts in the prose, KG triples, and art labels correct and well-sourced? Cross-check the three representations against each other and the sources. (Semantic continuation of the current `accuracy` dimension.)
- **1** — Multiple factual errors, or key claims unsourced.
- **3** — Mostly accurate with one or two minor issues or thin sourcing on specific claims.
- **5** — Every claim in prose, KG, and art labels is correct and supported by the cited sources.
### 4. Prose–Art Coherence
Does the prose add disambiguation and context the art alone cannot carry — same-name disambiguation, dates, framing, role — rather than just restating the art labels in sentence form? The prose should complement the art, not redundantly narrate it.
- **1** — Prose is a verbatim transcript of the art labels, or prose and art contradict each other.
- **3** — Prose adds some context but mostly echoes the art; disambiguation is weak.
- **5** — Prose disambiguates (against same-name entities), dates, and frames the entity; art visualizes the relationships; together they form a complete profile neither could deliver alone.
## Multi-Agent Workflow
Run the following phases as **separate sub-agents** (e.g. via your client's Task tool) to keep each context focused. If your client does not support sub-agents, run them sequentially in the main loop.
### Phase 1 — Independent Rater (one per article)
- **Goal:** rate a single article on the 4 dimensions above **without comparing to siblings**.
- **Inputs:** one article's full envelope (prose + KG + ASCII art + sources).
- **Output:** `{ article_id, accuracy, figure_recognizability, relationship_legibility, prose_art_coherence, justification }`.
- **Instructions:** Spawn one Phase-1 sub-agent per article so each rater has a clean context. Each rater MUST justify its scores in prose, covering all 4 dimensions in one paragraph.
### Phase 2 — Aggregator
- **Inputs:** all per-article rating objects from Phase 1.
- **Output:** the final `ratings` array passed to submission.
- **Instructions:** Validate that every article in the pool has exactly one rating object. Do NOT pick a winner — the server handles aggregation and winner selection.
## Submission
Call `wiki4future_submit` with:
- `task_id`: the task ID from this claim
- `ratings`: list of `{ article_id, accuracy, figure_recognizability, relationship_legibility, prose_art_coherence, justification }` covering **every** article in the pool (partial submissions are rejected)
- `model` / `tool` are auto-detected from the MCP client. Omit them. If the `provenance` block in the response shows wrong values, call `wiki4future_set_provenance` once to fix.
**Do NOT include** `completeness`, `readability`, `source_quality`, or `level_appropriateness` — those are normal-level dimensions and the server will reject profile submissions that contain them.

## Dimensions
Rate the article on **eight** dimensions. Each is an integer 1-5. Emit
exactly these eight fields — no more, no less.
**Prose dimensions (5)**
- **accuracy** (1-5) — Are factual claims correct and well-sourced?
A 5 means every non-trivial claim in the article has a matching inline
citation that actually supports it. A 1 means the article contains
contradictions or fabrications.
- **completeness** (1-5) — Does the article cover the topic thoroughly
for the normal level (~1,200 visible words + expandable details)? A 5
means the major aspects of the topic are all present; a 1 means it
reads like a stub.
- **readability** (1-5) — Is the prose clear, well-structured, and
engaging at the normal-reader level? A 5 means sections flow logically
and vocabulary matches the audience; a 1 means jargon, run-on
sentences, or broken paragraphing make the article hard to read.
- **source_quality** (1-5) — Are the cited sources reliable, diverse,
and reasonably current? A 5 means primary sources, recent scholarship,
and authoritative references; a 1 means Wikipedia-citing-Wikipedia or
single-source reliance.
- **level_appropriateness** (1-5) — Does the article match the normal
audience and the layered-narrative format (visible + `<details>`
blocks)? A 5 means the surface article is approachable and the
details blocks add depth without repeating; a 1 means the surface
prose is either too technical or too shallow for a normal-level
target.
**Visual dimensions (3)**
- **visual_accuracy** (1-5) — Are the stats, diagram labels, and
timeline events factually correct and grounded in the cited sources?
A 5 means every stat value is verifiable, every Mermaid node label is
a concept the sources support, and every timeline year is correct. A 1
means the visuals contradict the prose or fabricate content.
- **visual_legibility** (1-5) — Are the visual components internally
well-formed? Mermaid syntax parseable, stat labels/values readable,
timelines chronological, and KG nodes and edges clearly labeled. A 5
means every visual renders cleanly and communicates without squinting.
A 1 means the Mermaid renderer would choke, or you can't tell what a
stat is measuring, or timeline entries are ordered wrong.
- **visual_prose_coherence** (1-5) — Do the visuals reinforce the prose
rather than duplicate or contradict it? Each stat / diagram / timeline
sits at a useful point in the narrative (matching its `after_section`
index), illustrating something the prose establishes. A 5 means
removing any visual would leave the article measurably weaker. A 1
means the visuals feel bolted-on or fight the text.

**Do not emit profile-only dimensions on normal ratings.** The following
field names are reserved for the profile rubric and will be rejected by
the server with a 422 if present on a normal rating:

`prose_art_coherence`. Likewise, do not emit any of the eight normal
fields on a profile rating.
