Admissions & Assessments

Our Preschool and Pre K programs provide a warm, play-based, and nurturing introduction to school rooted in relationship, exploration, and joyful learning.

OLL offers flexible scheduling options for Preschool and Pre K families, including four-day or five-day programs as well as half-day and full-day options to best support the needs of young learners and families.

Applications for Preschool and Pre K are typically due in mid-December before transitioning to a rolling admissions process based on program availability.

Because spaces are limited, we encourage families to apply early and connect with our admissions team to learn more about our early learning philosophy, classroom environment, and program offerings.

Students applying for Kindergarten participate in a small-group Kindergarten Readiness Assessment, typically scheduled during the first week back from Christmas Break in January.

These assessments are designed to be welcoming, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. They allow our team to observe foundational readiness skills related to early literacy, language development, social-emotional readiness, attention, fine motor development, and early math concepts.

Our goal is not perfection or prior academic acceleration. Rather, we seek to understand each child as a learner and ensure we can provide a learning environment where they will feel confident, supported, and successful.

All students applying to grades 1 - 8 are invited to participate in an academic assessment once their application is complete.
