Expanding Creativity, Confidence & Student Voice
At OLL, we believe education should nurture the whole child and provide students with opportunities to discover their gifts, explore their passions, and develop confidence beyond the traditional classroom experience.
Our Academic Enrichment programs are intentionally designed to cultivate creativity, communication, collaboration, cultural awareness, wellness, and joyful engagement in learning. Through the arts, language, movement, technology, and performance, students develop skills that strengthen both academic growth and personal development.
Beginning in Preschool and continuing through 8th grade, enrichment classes help students:

Enrichment is not an “extra.” It is an essential part of forming thoughtful, confident, well-rounded learners prepared to engage meaningfully with the world around them.
Physical Education
Preschool - 8th
Physical Education is centered on fostering a lifelong love of movement, wellness, teamwork, and healthy competition.
Spanish
Kindergarten - 8th
The Spanish program focuses on building exposure to and appreciation for the Spanish language and culture while helping students develop confidence in communication and global awareness.
Technology
3rd - 5th
Technology instruction helps students develop foundational digital literacy skills while learning how to use technology responsibly, creatively, and purposefully.
Speech
6th - 8th
All middle school students participate in Speech as part of the academic program because we believe communication, presentation, speaking, and listening skills are essential tools for leadership and lifelong success.
Art
Preschool - 8th
Music helps students develop creativity. Art is exploratory, hands-on, and deeply rooted in creativity, and self-expression. Art mediums from visual arts and ceramics.

STEM
6th - 8th
Innovation and discovery are at the heart of OLL's middle school STEM program. In addition to a strong science curriculum, students in grades 6-8 explore robotics, computer coding, and 3D printing and design through engaging, project-based learning experiences. By blending creativity with technology, students gain the confidence to become tomorrow's innovators and leaders.
Library
Kindergarten - 5th
Library classes are centered on fostering a lifelong love of reading, curiosity, information literacy, and exploration. Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade build research skills, discover diverse literature, and develop the habits of thoughtful, confident, and joyful readers.
